As WeConservePA strives to increase and improve land conservation efforts in Pennsylvania, we recognize the importance of local government leadership in these endeavors.  We acknowledge the incredible contributions of government entities across the commonwealth, as well as demonstrated leadership and success in conservation initiatives, with the selection of a Local Government Conservation Leadership Award winner each year.

Organizations are invited submit their nomination for a county or municipality to be recognized with the Local Government Conservation Leadership Award.  Nominations must include: nominator information, support letter(s), and complete local government conservation program or project information.

The award will be presented at the annual Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference, to be held March 16-18, 2022, in Gettysburg, PA.
