Press release shared by the Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds August 6, 2024.
The Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds (FPW) announced that the fall request for grants is now open on the FPW grant portal, www.thefpw.org. More than $500,000 is available for projects that advance the protection and restoration of Pennsylvania’s waterways.
“It’s exciting to see the wide range of local conservation projects the FPW is able to fund,” said Deborah Nardone, FPW executive director. “Applications for projects that improve or protect water quality in Pennsylvania will be accepted through September 6th.”
The FPW provides matching grant funds to both small and large groups and organizations throughout much of the Commonwealth. Through FPW’s grantmaking, assistance is provided to conservation organizations to achieve their restoration goals, while ensuring enough clean water for future generations of Pennsylvania children, families and wildlife.
The next grant application cycle opened in early August 2024 with Letters of Interest due by September 6th. If the LOI is accepted, full proposals are due October 18th, 2024.
