On September 12, United Way Day of Caring volunteers assisted Pocono Heritage Land Trust stewardship manager Matt Schultz in the creation of two boardwalks on wet spots over the trail at Kurmes Nature Preserve in Cresco.
Represented were volunteers from UGI, Sierra Club, East Stroudsburg University, PHLT members, and local community members.
In addition, volunteers cleared and trimmed overgrown vegetation from the trail. Thanks to these volunteers for donating their time and skills!
