2023 Award Nominations
Nominations are now open for the 2023 Lifetime Conservation Leadership Award and the Local Government Conservation Leadership Awards.
Awards will be presented at the annual Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference in Reading, April 26 – 28, 2023. Deadline for Submission: September 30, 2022
Lifetime Conservation Leadership Award
The Lifetime Conservation Leadership Award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to conservation in Pennsylvania over the course of their life. WeConservePA honors at most one person with this distinction each year. Since it was established in 2004, the award has honored both conservation professionals and volunteers for their commitment to and leadership in conservation.
Local Government Conservation Leadership Award
As WeConservePA strives to increase and improve land conservation efforts in Pennsylvania, we recognize the importance of local government leadership in these endeavors. We acknowledge the incredible contributions of government entities across the commonwealth, as well as demonstrated leadership and success in conservation initiatives, with the selection of a Local Government Conservation Leadership Award winner each year.
