WeConservePA is now accepting proposals to present at the 2023 Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference to be held in-person, April 26 – 28, 2023 at the DoubleTree Hilton, Reading PA.

Join Pennsylvania’s conservation community by contributing to an inspiring agenda of panel discussions, roundtables, workshops, and seminars covering a wide range of topics. The Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference is Pennsylvania’s premier networking, training, and inspirational event for staff and volunteers of conservation groups.  Average attendance for this event is 300-350 individuals representing land trusts, state agencies, trail management organizations, municipalities, and parks and recreation departments.

More details:

  • Classroom and mobile seminars will be scheduled on Wednesday, April 26. Workshops, panel discussions, and roundtables will be scheduled on Thursday/Friday, April 27 & 28.
  • We will consider 60-minute, 90-minute, two-hour, and half or full day presentations (3+ hours). For session proposals requiring 3 hours or more, please specify desired length in the space provided.
  • Identified topics of interest: land protection, stewardship, conservation easements, land use planning, restoration, climate change/carbon, forestry, farmland preservation, fundraising, marketing and communications, organizational development, partnerships and community engagement, education, and outreach, DEIJ and access. Proposals on topics outside of this list will also be considered.
