As energy transitions continue to expand nationally and, in the Commonwealth, utility scale solar is being seen as becoming one of the key energy sources of our future. Questions are arising around siting, land transitions, and how can local communities plan for large scale solar arrays in their jurisdiction. Join guest speakers Tom Murphy, Director, Penn State Marcellus Center for Outreach and Research (MCOR) with Penn State Cooperative Extension, and Brook Duer, Staff Attorney, Center for Agricultural and Shale Law with Penn State Law, and other experts in this emerging field, as we explore this topic and the implications for municipalities and conservancy's.  REGISTER

2021 Municipal Stormwater Workshop | Tuesday, October 12th, 8:30AM-3:30PM | In Person

Please join us at the 2021 Municipal Stormwater Workshop on Tuesday, October 12th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on Villanova's campus in CEER 001 (building 6 on this map). This event is hosted by Villanova University and the Pennsylvania Environmental Council. The location is easily accessible by car, bus, or train. Campus is served by both the Paoli-Thorndale line and the Norristown High Speed Line. Cars will park in the visitor lot (I-1 on this map).

The theme of this year's workshop is Adapting Stormwater Management Practices in a Changing Climate. The agenda and registration information can be found here. Registration is $50. Any solar owner can be part of this terrific program to help educate our communities about going solar.

By signing up, you are inviting folks to stop by your property and learn about your solar panels - how long have you had them, what you like about them, how you chose your installer, etc.
