DESCRIPTION:Pricing\n$45.00 Early Bird (through Labor Day\, September 7)\n$75.00 Regular (September 8 – October 31)\n$95.00 Late (October 31 and after) \nPennsylvania municipalities have opportunities to protect parks\, farms\, natural areas\, and other open space for their local communities. Join municipal leaders\, staff\, elected officials\, volunteers\, and conservation partners for this inaugural event focused on strengthening local open space protection efforts. The program features two educational tracks: one designed to help municipalities effectively administer existing open space protection programs\, and another for communities interested in pursuing a dedicated open space tax or bond referendum. Throughout the day\, attendees will gain practical guidance\, learn from experienced professionals\, and build valuable connections with others committed to preserving open space in their communities. \nEngage with and Contribute to the Event \n\nShare your story! WeConservePA seeks participants to deliver concise\, 3-5 minute presentations during the plenary. A presentation may address any aspect of the planning\, operation\, and impacts of municipal open space protection efforts that you believe the audience will find interesting\, instructive\, or inspiring.
