Delaware Highlands Conservancy

Based in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania (with field offices in Barryville, New York and Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania) the Delaware Highlands Conservancy is an accredited land trust dedicated to conserving the natural heritage and quality of life in the Upper Delaware River region in partnership with the region’s landowners and communities. This region encompasses Sullivan and Delaware Counties, New York and Pike and Wayne Counties, Pennsylvania. Established in 1994, the Conservancy has helped to protect more than 18,000 acres throughout the region.

The Conservancy is seeking a Stewardship Intern to work with our Stewardship Coordinator to monitor and steward our conservation easements in New York and Pennsylvania.

The internship is a temporary part-time position paying $15.00 per hour with mileage reimbursement and involves approximately 250 hours of field and office work generally in the summer months. The position does not include housing.
