Mission or Purpose
The Hampden Environmental Advisory Team “HEAT” works actively with the Planning Commission and the Board of Commissioners as stewards of the environment in alignment with Hampden Township goals. HEAT’s mission is to identify environmental problems and recommend plans and programs to the Board of Commissioners, Planning Commission, and other committees of the Township for the promotion and conservation of natural resources and for the protection and improvement of the quality of the environment within Hampden Township.
