Allegheny Land Trust has launched a new outdoor and environmental education initiative, and hired two staff members to manage the new education programs.
ALT welcomes Jessica Kester and Julie Travaglini (both formerly of The Outdoor Classroom) to their team to create additional educational opportunities, especially for school-aged children, at their conservation areas.
Over the coming months, Jessica and Julie will develop new programs for children and adults, and those programs will be offered across the region via ALT staff and partnerships with municipalities, school districts, counties, non-profits, and others.
ALT has a few items on their wish list and is seeking donations.
