On May 2, the York County Rail Trail Authority, in partnership with York County and York County Department of Parks and Recreation, invites all rail-trail enthusiasts to attend the grand opening celebration for a new section of the Heritage Rail Trail County Park. The new section stretches from Route 30 to N. George Street and adds more miles to the popular trail that stretches from York to the Maryland state line. Walkers, runners, cyclists, bird watchers, and anyone else who enjoys the great outdoors is invited.
