DCNR is accepting applications for grants to aid snowmobile- and ATV-related projects. The grant round is open now through 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 31. Applications are being accepted electronically through DCNR’s online grant application system. Funding for the grants comes from ATV and snowmobile registration fees. No match is required for this funding, but applications with matching funds will be given additional consideration.
Projects eligible for grants include:
  • Planning and acquisition of trails, areas, and facilities for ATV or snowmobile use
  • Construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of ATV or snowmobile trails and facilities
  • Purchase or lease of equipment for maintaining and constructing ATV or snowmobile trails and facilities
  • Development of educational materials and programs
