The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is accepting applications for the new Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grants Program. Approximately $2 billion is available to benefit disadvantaged communities through projects that reduce pollution, increase community climate resilience, and build community capacity to address environmental and climate justice challenges.
Eligible applicants are partnerships between two community-based non-profit organizations, and partnerships between such organizations and local governments or higher education institutions.
Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis through November 21, 2024. Interested applicants can apply using the Grants.gov website.
