The time to seek county-level CARES Act funding is rapidly closing. Although trails, conservation, parks, and recreation are not explicitly listed in the guidelines for this funding program, County Commissioners have significant discretion over how and to whom they allocate the funds—and conversation organizations are definitely eligible to receive funding.
