WeConservePA is distributing its last copies of In Their Own Words, a collection of 15 essays by individuals who made the choice to conserve their land. Designed for landowner outreach by land trusts, this beautifully-designed 48-page publication informs landowners of the thinking and actions of people like them making decisions about their land. It also illustrates for others the powerful motives behind conservation. Additionally, it’s also a good read and a powerful reminder about why this work matters so much to the people–both the landowners and the conservation professionals–who engage in it.WeConservePA will honor all land trust requests for copies until they run out. There is no charge for the pieces or postage (although donations are gladly accepted). The publication comes standard in boxes of 50 but can be broken into smaller numbers if desired.
