Lancaster Farmland Trust announced that the Glick family preserved their 83-acre farm in Eden Township, Lancaster County. This farm is home to a dairy operation with 70 cows and grows Lancaster County’s most typical crops – corn and alfalfa. It was important for the Glick family to preserve their farm so their children would have the opportunity to farm the land in the future. Due to its location, the preservation of this farm creates a continuous 250-acre block of protected land. This farm was on Lancaster Farmland Trust’s waiting list for two years, yet is now protected forever.
