Lancaster Farmland Trust has announced the preservation of Allgyer Farm, a 92-acre property that sits between neighboring farmland, wooded areas, and various unnamed tributaries in rural Salisbury Township.
Four generation of the Allgyer family live and work on this traditional Amish farm, where they grow produce that is sold to a local co-op and through a small, on-farm stand. Several chickens, cows, and horses roam the property known by the Allgyer family as ‘Til Hollow Farm.
