Lancaster Farmland Trust announced that the Nissley family preserved their two farms, one 97-acres and the other 100-acres, totally 197-acres of newly preserved farmland. The Nissley farms are home to a chicken house, fields that grow corn, hay, and soybeans. The farm also uses a portion of land to pasture a pony. This farm is dedicated to implementing conservation plans that steward and protect the farm’s beautiful natural resources.
