The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is accepting proposals to restore water quality and habitats in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributary rivers and streams. Funding is available under the Innovative Nutrient and Sediment Reduction (INSR) grant program. NFWF estimates awarding up to $25 million in grants through the program in 2024. Those interested in applying should attend the INSR Applicant Webinar on Monday, January 8. Applicants must also consult with NFWF program staff by Wednesday, January 24 to ensure eligibility and receive feedback on proposed projects. Full proposals are due Wednesday, February 21.
