On August 8, 2022, Friends of the Riverfront announced a new Three Rivers Heritage Trail segment in Natrona. This small trail segment (107 feet) will have a big impact. Not only is it a part of the growing Three Rivers Heritage Trail and Erie to Pittsburgh Trail, but is also provides a new connection from Natrona Community Park to the Natrona Riverfront. Park goers no longer have to walk half a mile around to get to the riverfront park. The concreate and fencing have been installed, but trail users should stay tuned for an art installation and crosswalk.
Friends of the Riverfront is is grateful to the many businesses and area residents who donated to make this project a reality, and to the Harrison Township Commissioners for their tireless efforts on this project.
