On February 17, the Land Trust Accreditation Commission announced that the Open Land Conservancy of Chester County is one of 13 land trusts across the U.S. to recently achieve first-time accreditation and the 24th accredited land trust in Pennsylvania.

Land trusts seeking accreditation must complete a rigorous process to achieve first-time or renewed accreditation, confirming their compliance with national quality standards and providing continued assurance to donors and landowners of their commitment to forever care for their land and easements.
