The Pennsylvania Environmental Council will hold its 49th Environmental Partnership dinner on June 13 to recognize Molly Morrison and Kate Harper with the Curtin Winsor Award, which honors their accomplishments as conservation leaders in Pennsylvania.
Molly Morrison
Morrison has been described as “a force of and for nature.” Morrison has built a remarkable conservation legacy throughout her entire career, spanning the launch of Chester County’s ground-breaking open space preservation program through her profound impact at Natural Lands, the region’s largest conservation organization.
The Honorable Kate M. Harper
Harper is a leader for the environment. The prime architect of the Growing Greener II initiative and vocal proponent of preserving and enhancing the state’s Growing Greener program, Harper is rooted in community activism with service in local government, and as state representative for the 61st Legislative District. Last year, Harper spearheaded the passage of Act 45 of 2018, which protects conservation easements from irresponsible exercise of eminent domain.
The Environmental Partnership dinner will be held at the Crystal Tea Room, 100 East Penn Square in Philadelphia from 5:30 to 8:30. Click here to register.
