The Loyalsock Foundation held a ribbon cutting and hosted an inaugural walk along the newly constructed Summit Loop trail. This one-mile walking path, which is part of The Summit: Center for Wellness, is now open to the public.

The Endless Mountains Heritage Region (EMHR) provided nearly $8,500 in funding to the Loyalsock Foundation through their Partnership/Mini-Grants Program to help with signage around the loop and property, as well as benches. Additional funding was provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Sullivan County Recreational Association, and other local partners and supporters.

Once completed, The Summit: Center for Wellness will be Sullivan County’s first indoor recreation facility, complete with the outdoor walking loop that can be utilized by the public and the nearby Sullivan County School District.
