Earlier this year, WeConservePA developed a proposed set of changes to the Model Grant of Conservation Easement and Declaration of Covenants based on user feedback over the prior two years. Those proposed changes, which were announced via the Conserve Land Update and posted for peer review over the summer, were unanimously supported by reviewers. WeConservePA has now finalized those changes and published them at the WeConservePA library.
The changes are itemized and explained in their own file at the library item page.
Users are encouraged to adopt these changes for all new projects as well as for more advanced projects where making the changes won’t jeopardize completion of the project.
