In mid-November, Emily Gates joined the WeConservePA team as Education & Outreach Manager. Emily comes to WeConservePA with over 15 years of nonprofit experience, including work with parks, recreation, trails, and other conservation professionals.
As Education & Outreach Manager, Emily will be planning and administering the Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference, Pennsylvania Greenways & Trails Summit and WeConservePA’s various other in-person and online workshops, roundtables, and seminars. She will manage WeConservePA.org and other communication channels as well as much of WeConservePA’s education work in support of trails. Outside of work, Emily enjoys the outdoors by gardening, kayaking, and hiking with her dog, Cobalt.
