The Green Ribbon Trail and Preserve was designated by the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association as one of the 2022 Great Places in Pennsylvania in the category of Great Greenways and Trails.
Great Places, like the Green Ribbon Trail, have a sustainable vision for the future and serve as a model for other communities. The 12.6-mile Green Ribbon Trail follows the Wissahickon Creek and travels through 578 acres of preserved land in six townships and two boroughs.
