Session Proposal Submission

WeConservePA and the 2026 Environmental Advisory Council Conference Planning Committee welcome proposals for presentations. The EAC Conference is an annual, in-person event that provides education, resources, and networking for Environmental Advisory Council members, municipal leaders and staff, and community partners seeking to advance environmental initiatives and local sustainability.

Please note, on the form below, you will be asked to identify which session type would best accommodate your proposal:

  • Presentation/Lecture (single or multiple presenters delivering prepared content)
  • Panel Discussion with Moderator (multiple speakers sharing perspectives, guided by a moderator, with Q&A)
  • Roundtable (facilitated small-group discussion on a specific topic)
  • Lightning Round (5-min. inspiring highlight on a topic or project)

Submission Deadline: Friday, July 24 by 5:00 p.m.

Specific areas of interest for the 2026 EAC Conference include:

  • Data Centers—What EACs can do to request environmental impact data and other information from developers, support municipal decision-makers, and engage residents.
  • Sustainability Communications & Public Relations—How EACs can communicate effectively with local government to advance environmental or sustainability needs, recommendations, and initiatives; as well as with residents to educate, inform, and promote positive image for the municipality.
  • “Future-Proofing” Municipal Codes Through Sustainable Zoning—How to adapt zoning, planning, and ordinances for community resiliency and sustainability in a climate-changing world.
  • Measuring Success—How EACs track, measure, and report to demonstrate accountability and impact.
