June 14, 6PM | Virtual | Free, but registration is required

REGISTER

POWR is excited to host Kristina Rylands, Project Director and Board Vice Chair of the Upper Merced River Watershed Council, for an evening presentation and conversation about the inspiring story of a watershed organization that is on a journey to re-envision itself and its mission and re-introduce itself to funders, partners, and community members after a series of unfortunate events put efforts and projects on an extended hold. The geography is different (the Upper Merced in located in California), but I assure you that you'll relate to the history, challenges, passion, hope, and commitment to doing the work to restore the river, conserve the watershed, and engage the people who call it home. Your insights, too, will be a welcome and valuable part of the story. (Plus, you'll hear a bit more about their very cool mascot!)
