HWA-Resistant Hemlock – Strategies for Identification
Webinar
The Lingering Hemlock Project aims to further development of hemlock trees with genetic resistance to hemlock woolly adelgid by identifying potentially resistant genotypes. Natural areas can participate by reporting lingering hemlocks in areas with high hemlock mortality and to establish and monitor hemlock stands in areas with lower mortality. This workshop will train participants to search for lingering hemlock and to establish hemlock mortality plots in areas with lower mortality.
