Mission or Purpose
Established in 2007 to protect, conserve and manage the use of natural resources like air, water and land in the Township in a sustainable way, the Environmental Advisory Council of Cheltenham Township is a seven-member citizen’s committee that advises the Township on various environmental issues affecting Cheltenham Township, including healthy watersheds, managing energy and emissions, climate change concerns, mobility, healthy living, sustainability.
