The Bessemer Trail is officially open! There are still some finishing touches to be completed, such as landscaping, fencing, and benches to enjoy the view of French Creek but we are thrilled that the trail is ready for use. Outdoor recreation continues to be an important driver of both economic and workforce development in communities like ours and as part of Crawford County’s growing trail systems, the Bessemer Trail enhances the county as an outdoor recreation destination!
This project is Phase 1 of a RACP grant and is a true public-private partnership. We are so grateful to our partners for not only their financial contributions, but also their enthusiastic support for this new community asset.
