WeConservePA endeavors to launch a participatory network of Pennsylvania attorneys involved in land conservation. The aim is to advance land conservation in the public interest by deepening the quality and expanding the accessibility of conservation legal services in the Commonwealth. Participation is open to all attorneys with an interest in land conservation but targeted to those working directly on land conservation projects, whether with land trusts or other conservation nonprofits, government entities, or landowners. Law students and non-attorney legal professionals are also welcome. Participation is free and voluntary. Participants will:

  • Receive training and insight from experts and peer practitioners on a range of legal topics.
  • Share experiences and challenges, solicit feedback, and identify opportunities for cooperation
  • Discuss breaking developments in the law affecting land conservation practice
  • Build community with fellow land conservation legal professionals
  • Receive ongoing notification of opportunities for conservation-focused legal education

The network will convene online up to four times annually for 45-90 minute sessions, with the number, frequency, and length of meetings to be determined by participant preferences. CLE credit will be available for a nominal fee.

Please express your interest in participating by completing this short form. Please forward this notice to potentially interested members of your professional network, including attorneys on land trust boards and staff.
