The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy (WPC) is now accepting proposals for two agricultural leases at 218 Uber Road, Findley Township, Mercer County. WPC acquired the farm in December 2018 as part of the WPC Farmland Access Program, which seeks to lease farms at affordable rates to farmers producing food for the Pittsburgh region. WPC’s goal is to balance sustainable agricultural productivity with environmental stewardship while educating the public and supporting the local food system.
Farmers are encouraged to submit a proposal.
