A traveling outdoor block party with outdoor recreation, DJ, and food trucks—the 2026 Outdoors for All Day Tour has finished! Hosted by PA’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), the four-city tour kicked off in Philadelphia. During July and August, the tour came to Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Pittsburgh. It brought with it outdoor activities like kayaking, mountain biking, yoga, bird watching, fishing, and more to local parks to encourage connection and engagement between other area non-profit organizations with conservation and the outdoors.
Launched on July 17, 2024, Outdoors for All Day highlights the value outdoor recreation brings to every community. The event promotes welcoming access to nature across Pennsylvania.
This year, the theme focused on connections to water. Waterways played important historical roles in each of the four cities on the tour. Today, these waterways are being reimagined as recreational assets.
